TURKISH CHAMBERS QUALITY PROJECT

      The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) began to execute the Turkish Chambers Quality Project with the British Chambers of Commerce (BBC) in 2001 and since 30 June 2005, it has continued this project with Turk Loydu.

 The main goal of the Turkish Chambers Quality Project is to ensure a credible, “World Class” network of quality assured Chambers across Turkey which is held in high regard by both Public and Private sectors.

 In this respect Konya Chamber of Commerce participated in the Chambers Quality Project in 25 January 2005, and it was audited two times by the auditors of British Chambers of Commerce in 10-11 February 2005 and 13 May 2005.

 Konya Chamber of Commerce subsequently achieved the Accreditation Standard that was verified by external assessment and approved by the Accreditation Board. In this framework, Konya Chamber of Commerce assumed a title of Accredited Chamber in 5 July 20005 and it classed among the 38 Chambers of Turkey that qualify to take this certificate.
